Oscar
Philippa started looking after Oscar in April 2015 when he was 12 weeks old. She has always been reliable and never left me in the lurch which is important as I work. She has always been flexible taking Oscar for extra days when I have had to go to the office or swapping when needed.
She collects Oscar during the morning and returns him early evening. She has our keys and lets herself in and out and has always been reliable with ensuring the burglar alarm is set.
The most important thing is Oscar adores Phyl and on the occasions I have dropped him to her place when she is having him for the weekend he pulls to get in the flat and sadly for me never looks back! He always comes back exhausted after his day with her after lots of walks. I love the fact that he sleeps on her bed when we are away and is in a home environment rather than in soulless kennels.
Phyl was also full of good advice when he was a puppy with regard to food and walking, as Oscar was a pickle to walk on the lead initially and a fussy eater!
In conclusion I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Phyl for dog walks, daycare and holiday cover.
Poppy, Treacle & Ralph
Phyl has been walking and boarding our dogs (Cairn - 16 yrs when he died, two Border Terriers - 8 and 5 yrs, and a Jack Russell - 5 yrs) for the past 8 years. She was recommended to us by another dog minder who left the area.
She's kind, trustworthy and very reliable. What's more the dogs love her, more than us I sometimes think! Phyl is a key-holder and has let me into my own house in the past when I left mine at work. I have no hesitation in highly recommending her.
Pops
I have known Philippa since March 2014 when I adopted my rescue dog from Spain. She was recommended to me by friends as she looked after their dogs and had done so for some time and they couldn't rate her highly enough.
Phyl adores dogs and they adore her. My little rescue Popsy was very nervous but she quickly came out of her shell with Phyl and is very confident when with her. She has our keys and collects and drops back Popsy in a timely manner and is willing to step in at short notice if she can to help, and if she can't she usually has some alternate suggestions.
I would trust very few people with my dog but Philippa is most definitely at the top of the list. I would recommend her to anyone who wanted a reliable, caring and responsible person to take care of their dog.
Sammie
Phyl has been walking and boarding our dog Sammie for circa 8 years now. Sammie adores Phyl and we are lucky that Phyl loves Sammie as much as we do. Sammie gets super excited when Phyl arrives to collect her and we can tell she's had a great time when she gets home.
Phyl has been 100% reliable and flexible over the time we've used her services, and we are very fortunate that she has often gone above and beyond expectations to help us out when Sammie has needed special care e.g. when she's been ill. Phyl has her own set of keys for our house to come and go as convenient for her walking schedule, and I have no hesitation in recommending her.
Bentley
We have been asking Philippa to look after our dog Bentley for the past 5 and a half years whenever we go away. This could be for a weekend break to a friend's house or a 15 day holiday abroad.
Phyl has been nothing but reliable and trustworthy. She will look after other people's dogs as if they were her own. She is kind and capable.
We and Bentley are VERY lucky to have found Philippa. Bentley is always happy to see her and looks forward to staying at hers. I highly recommend Philippa if you love your dog and want him/her to be looked after well with tender loving care.
Belle
I am very pleased to recommend Philippa as an excellent dog minder.
My greyhound has been going to Philippa for home boarding for eight years; Belle's always extremely pleased to see Phyl when she comes to collect her, and she has always returned home happy and healthy. Phyl takes great care about feeding and outdoor exercise and if any problems arise she makes sure Belle is checked out by a vet.
You can be sure that your dog will be treated well and you can have peace of mind while you are away.
Cooper & Grace
Our two dogs Cooper and Grace have been boarding with Philippa on a regular basis for many years. They always love staying with her, which can be for anything from a long weekend to a couple of weeks, at least twice a year; Cooper over the last 11 years and our newest arrival Grace for the last 3 years. They have always been looked after and cared for extremely well and we have the greatest confidence that they are in very good hands.
